Happy Festivus all! I am having a great holiday. We have massive snow here in NY right now. Here's a photo of the benches at Central Park, the snow fell right up to the bench seat.
I'm not much of a shutterbug, go to NY Times to see what it looked like
Or this.
I had a really fun short walk, it was bright and sunny. I did overhear this couple coming out of a building though:
Woman: You want to go to Central Park?
Man: Nah. I've seen nature in snow before.
Huh. First of all, Central Park is NOT nature. Let's nip that idea right in the bud. But his sheer douchebagness. His tone... as though he had something better to do. What are you off to do? lunch in a diner down the block? I'm just always surprised and saddened when people have no wonder. It's such a treat. It's really a miracle.
Mostly everyone was appreciating it, having fun and lots of families were out. Me and this worker guy helped an old lady cross a snow bank. It feels nice to be helpful. I don't know if she really needed my help but it makes you feel connected to the other humans. The guy was like "that's how we do." :0)
So Paul is editing the next episode and it should be up in a couple weeks. It may be a two-parter. We're having some trouble with the early film I promised you because the digital copy of it on Paul's computer was lost in a disc crash some time ago. We'll see what we can do. We had a really fun, low key Christmas. Have a safe and fun New Year!
